For some reason the anger she felt had melted into heartache. It's funny how feelings will play tricks on you like that.

Duality of RealityReality has no place for me…

The reminder echoes off these walls in a trilling chime.
The corners of my mind are my limits and boundaries.

I am tangible, I am real, I exist through this reality alone.
It is my mind that processes all I touch, feel and sense.

But what is paradise might also be considered a prison.
The relief found in this place cannot leave that place.

These two worlds can never meet.
Two realities cannot mesh.
And so I choose the first.

So I choose…

Reality has no place for me…

The reminder reflects in all I craft and form.

I did this painting a couple months ago for an Art Appreciation project. It was our last project for class, so I thought I should paint something I liked and had been meaning to do for a while.

That's why I decided to paint my dragon I had sketched back in 06-07. This is the legendary beast my Naruto OC has sealed inside her. It's sort of a bijuu, yet not... it's complicated.

Anyway, this painting is part of a two piece set, I'll be uploading the second piece next. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it.
